Challenge / Question
What needed to be solved.
My challenge was to maintain a clear and recognisable visual identity while each issue brought different content, photography and advertising.

Graphic Design / Project
ZaneRooz was a monthly Persian-language lifestyle magazine produced in London from 2015 to 2017, bringing together editorial design, art direction, photography and print production.

Project Story
ZaneRooz was produced monthly in London from 2015 to 2017, with a print run of approximately 5,000 copies per issue. I worked across the publication as Director, Senior Graphic Designer and Art Director, developing its editorial identity while also producing photography, advertising and print-ready artwork.
The project extended beyond the design of individual pages. It involved maintaining a coherent visual system across changing monthly content, working directly with advertisers, overseeing production and pre-press, and contributing to the magazine's physical distribution.
Concept
Build a coherent editorial identity for a monthly Persian-language publication while allowing each issue to respond to different subjects, imagery and commercial content.

Challenge / Question
My challenge was to maintain a clear and recognisable visual identity while each issue brought different content, photography and advertising.
Approach & Process
I developed the magazine as a flexible editorial system rather than a fixed template. Each issue brought new content, photography and advertising, while typography, hierarchy and the overall visual language provided continuity. My process often extended from creating or preparing imagery through layout, advertising and pre-press to the final printed publication.
Outcome
ZaneRooz developed into a monthly publication with a consistent editorial identity across changing content and issues. Produced in London between 2015 and 2017, approximately 5,000 copies were printed per issue and distributed through shops and businesses, taking the project from design and production into a physical publication in circulation.
